The Brand

Rock Those Curves launched during the first U.K. lockdown as a place for plus size women over 50 to find unique, stylish items for their wardrobe.

Currently, Rock Those Curves is a small, one person business run by Carol. Starting on Instagram, she quickly amassed an engaged audience and rapidly increasing sales due to their body-positive approach to fashion.

However, success soon saw Carol outgrow social-only selling, adding an online store to improve their offering and develop the brand further.

The Problem

Carol found the perfect gap in the market to sell her clothing, but was struggling to reach them en-mass.

Instagram was the main way Rock Those Curves had been engaging their customers, but it was getting harder and harder to get posts and stories in front of their audience.

New products, promotions, and updates were all going missed - and so were sales.

The Solution

Rock Those Curves contacted StoreLab to build a bespoke mobile app to improve customer retention as well as run paid social ads to attract new audiences. With our apps improving client retention by 3x over 90 days, it was a no-brainer.

With the help of one of our dedicated account managers, Carol’s vision was translated into both the mobile app and the social adverts. It was important not just to build her customer base, but also, her brand.
